You can observe the MAGICAL life cycle and allow children to learn and experience about it themselve :D A butterfly's life cycle comprises of egg, caterpillar, pupa, and adult. This process is called METAMORPHOSIS

It is always fun to observe and record such magical transformation of an creature! :D This is also another excellent opportunities to train your children about handling a pet and thus training their responsibility towards pet since the life span of a caterpillar and butterfly is not long :(
